A family room that works for all ages and furry friends

A tired, well used and abused family room got a makeover to survive a family of five with both dogs and boys running around. We aimed for a transitional mid-century modern feel and used performance materials that can stand the wear and tear.

A new color scheme was introduced to further modernize and make it live up to today’s comfort living. Soft tones of grays, blues and neutrals live together with warm wood tones, and brass is used as an accent on accessories and lighting. Picture ledges updated the family picture wall, and can easily be updated as more family memories get captured.
